The trailer for The Hobbit's last installment, The Battle Of The Five Armies, was the most watched entertainment video on YouTube for the third quarter, the company unveiled.
Currently at 18,145,448 views, the clip for the The Hobbit's third installment beat out the trailer for The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1, which has 15,371,589 views and the official trailer for Fifty Shades of Grey which holds 14,751,740 views, according to Deadline.
Other trailers in the top 10 were BANG BANG!, The Hunger Games: The Mockingjay Lives, The Walking Dead: Season 5, Become Legend, Finding Fanny, Call of Duty's Advance Warfare and Taken 3.
On its report, YouTube noted that views for the third quarter were up by 15 percent from Q2 at 107 million. The same is said of minutes watched, which jumped 5 percent to 168 million minutes. The company also noted that the most successful trailers of Q3 were those with longer duration as most of the top 10 clips were over two minutes.
The Battle Of The Five Armies finds young Bilbo and his friends embarking in a new war against an armed flock of combatants and Smaug as they continue their quest to reclaim Erebor. The film is expected in theaters on Dec. 17.
