Dwayne Johnson stars as a rescue helicopter pilot looking to save his family from an magnitude-9 earthquake in the new trailer for the forthcoming thriller San Andreas.
The clip sees Johnson in character as Ray flying a helicopter over Los Angeles in search for people in distress, but as Paul Giamatti's character says in the clip, the worst is yet to come.
"People need to know that the shaking is not over," he says. "We are going to get hit again and it's going to be a bigger monster."
Directed by Brad Peyton, San Andreas follows the "aftermath of a massive earthquake in California, [where] a rescue-chopper pilot makes a dangerous journey across the state in order to rescue his estranged daughter." The film also stars Alexandra Daddario and Carla Gugino and will be released in theaters on May 29.
