The family of the late Dr. Ghazi bin Abdul-Rahaman Algosaibi have marked his 75th birthday – which falls today - by launching a memorial website to commemorate his achievements.
His son, Suhail bin Ghazi Algosaibi, commented: "The idea of the website came in response to posthumous requests by my later father’s fans in Saudi Arabia and across the Arabian Gulf to publish information, pictures and videos about his remarkable life.
"The website, ghazialgosaibi.com will be lunched in a preliminary format and developed on an ongoing basis in line with feedback from the website visitors," he added. "We want it to be a true testament to his memory and his achievements."
Dr. Algosaibi was a poet, author, novelist, minister and ambassador, who served in the Saudi government for around four decades, under the late Kings Faisal, Khalid, Fahd and Abdullah.
The website will include a biography of Dr. Algosaibi, quotes from his family, friends and colleague and a list of his publications, as well as a photo archive.
"It will also include a page that allows visitors to voice their opinions about my father and take feedback on the website itself," Suhail Algosaibi said.
