Minister of Justice Dr. Hassan bin Lahdan Al Mohannadi signed Tuesday a contract with Ebla Computer Consultancy to develop land registry services into digital form.
The project is part of Qatar e-Government 2020 strategy. The project aims to connect electronically all state components related to the land registry process.
HE the Minister said that starting the project will cause a qualitative leap at the Ministry and the services it provides to the public. His Excellency added that beginning the project was in line with the directives of HH the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani to facilitate services to citizens. The project also contributes to Qatar National Vision 2030. His Excellency then thanked youth Qatari cadres that worked on the planning phase of the project.
Electronic land registry will have smart phone applications so citizens have a safe and accurate data of their real estate possessions.
