Prince has deleted his Facebook and Twitter accounts.
The acclaimed singer/songwriter surprised social media users on Tuesday by deleting his accounts without explanation. He also most of his videos from his official YouTube account, Princevevo.
According to The Guardian, the 56-year-old singer opened a Twitter account with the handle @3rdeyegirl last year and only joined Facebook in October to promote his new albums Plectrumelectrum and Art Official Age, which were released simultaneously in September.
Both albums are still available on Spotify, along with the rest of his discography.
The singer's exit from social media comes ones month after he failed to answer fan's questions during a scheduled Q&A on Facebook.
