The Emirates Identity Authority website has won the Summit International Creative Award for the Best Government Website, "Excellence in Leadership and Development of Strategies for Digital Content and Cognitive Information". 24 countries across the globe competed for the award.
Emirates ID said that winning such a prestigious international award is a new achievement that adds to the Authority's record while seeking to achieve excellence and innovation in e-Services provision.
The Emirates ID website was ranked first in the government website assessment report released by the U.A.E. Telecommunication Regulatory Authority late in 2013. It also won the Best Arab Government Website and the Best Strategic Facebook Page awards granted by the Tatweej Academy for Excellence in the Arab Region Awards .
