Dar al Iftaa's fatwa monitoring observatory warned of the gravity of Takfiri groups manipulation of dark internet - a term which refers to network hosts on the Internet that no one can reach.
In Saturday's report, the observatory urged pioneering technological companies to forge new programs and techniques to be able to uncover and trace such terror and Takfiri groups on the internet.
The report called for an international legislation incriminating such sites.
The report called for rallying regional and international efforts against dark internet which provides terrorists with safe means for practicing their illegal activities away from security pursuit.
The report referred to the 2011 report by an American research center saying that there are over 50,000 sites of dark internet and 300 forums of terror organizations.
