The St. Louis Cardinals flocked to Twitter after mechanical issues stranded their plane on the tarmac at Lambert Airport for several hours, team officials say. Manager Mike Matheny said the plane had been scheduled to fly to Boston at 2 p.m. EDT Tuesday for the sixth game of the World Series, KMOV-TV in St. Louis reported Wednesday. Aboard were the players, their families and the coaching staff.
