CACI International Inc. said Wednesday it will provide network engineering and other support services to the U.S. military and allied forces. The work, for the U.S. Defense Information Systems Agency's Multinational Information Sharing Program Management Office, comes under a $45 million task order issued under the agency's Encore II contract vehicle. It has a one-year base period of performance and four one-year options. "This new business with the Multinational Information Sharing Program Management Office further expands our worldwide support to DISA," said John Mengucci, CACI's chief operating officer and president of U.S. Operations. "Our disciplined approach to IT service management will help DISA provide the information sharing environments necessary for combatant commanders to rapidly and effectively consume and share information with coalition and mission partners." CACI said the agency's information sharing programs provide the infrastructure backbone, centralized network management, common services and core applications, for both classified and unclassified networks. CACI will provide network engineering and help transition all networks under the program to an agency enterprise service management framework.
