Blake Lively has finally launched her much-anticipated e-commerce site, Preserve.
In the actress' first ever "Letter From the Editor," published Monday, Lively defines the purpose of her site and explains that Preserve "it's all of us."
"I'm no editor, no artisan, no expert. And certainly no arbiter of what you should buy, wear, or eat," Lively admits in the opening paragraph of her letter, adding that she's come to the realization that she's "hungry for experience."
"I've been fortunate enough to travel. I've been all over the world and all over this country. There's so much life teeming out of every pocket of this nation. There are people creating magic with their bare hands. Creating things which land at that amazing intersection between art and function."
The former Gossip Girl star goes on to say that "the function of Preserve is part magazine, part e-commerce hub, part philanthropic endeavor and above all, a place to showcase the power of imagination, ingenuity, quality, and above all, people."
She defines the site as a place where people can find other people, stories, essays, videos and goods that might "inspire your home, your style and your tongue."
Featuring essay's from her husband Ryan Reynolds and hand-picked one-of-a-kind items, you can tour the site and check out Lively's full letter here.
