Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) will take part in a festivity to celebrate the UAE's National Day and its winning of organizing the EXPO 2020, it was announced here Tuesday.
The participation is also considered as a token of appreciation to the UAE, which celebrated Kuwait's national days and the UN honoring of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah as "Humanitarian Leader".
"This major contribution to the festival is a true manifestation of sturdy relations between Kuwait and the UAE on all levels," KUNA Deputy Director General for Communications, Financial and Administrative Affairs Abdulhamid Malek said.
The festivity is to be held on January 16-17 in Dubai at the Heritage Village in Al Shindagha Historical Neighborhood.
"KUNA's participation is concerned with showcasing shared history through shedding light on various cooperation activities," Malek added.
An 11-meter banner displaying the history and timeline of Kuwait-UAE relations, in addition to brochures on the Agency's activities, are to be showcased at a special pavilion at the Village.
