Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) Board Chairman and Director General Sheikh Mubarak Al-Duaij Al-Ibrahim Al-Sabah received here on Tuesday Director General of the Jordanian News Agency (PETRA) Faisal Al-Shabboul.
KUNA Chief also received Director General of Jordan Radio and Television Corporation Ramadan Al Rawashdeh as the two Jordanian officials are currently visiting the country to attend the Arab States Broadcasting Union (ASBU) meetings to be held in Kuwait between December 9th and 11th.
They discussed a number of vital issues related to the Arab media institutions and efforts exerted to develop Arab media to cope with latest developments in the field.
They stressed on the importance of exchanging expertise between Arab media institutions, as well as training to enhance the professionalism of the staff.
Sheikh Mubarak Al-Duaij and his Jordanian counterpart agreed to put into effect the cooperation agreement signed between KUNA and PETRA.
The meeting was attended by KUNA Deputy Director General for Financial, Administrative and Communication Affairs Abdulhameed Malak.
