Victoria Beckham took to Twitter Tuesday to share a series of heart-warming images from her recent trip to Soweto as a United Nations goodwill ambassador.
The former Spice Girl detailed her experience in the urban area of the city of Johannesburg in Gauteng in the photo captions and said the day trip had been "inspiring."
During her visit the 40-year-old fashion designer campaigned for AIDS education in South Africa by promoting HIV-Aids prevention among expecting mothers with the disease.
After being appointed UNAIDS Goodwill Ambasador in September, Beckham pledged to work toward helping children be born free from HIV.
"As a woman and a mother, I have a responsibility to support other women," David Beckham's wife said as she accepted her UN role. "I am proud and honored to be working with UNAIDS in this new role to help raise resources and awareness to support and empower women and children affected by HIV."
