The 22-year-old wife of a convicted French murderer and alleged serial killer has appeared in India's hugely popular reality television show "Bigg Boss." Nihita Biswas, who claims to have married 67-year-old Charles Sobhraj in a secret ceremony while he serves a life sentence in Nepal, is one of 14 contestants in the Indian version of the global hit "Big Brother." She made her debut to roaring applause from a live studio audience, telling show hosts and Bollywood stars Salman Khan and Sanjay Dutt that she had been happily married to Sobhraj for three years. Biswas told the Press Trust of India news agency that her husband was "very supportive." "I got a call for participating in this show and my husband said I must do it," she said. "Bigg Boss," which is in its fifth series, ran into controversy last October when activists of the Hindu nationalist Shiv Sena party protested against two Pakistani artists, Veena Malik and Ali Saleem, appearing on the show.
