Users of social media network always discuss current topics. What is interesting today is that GCC citizens have resorted to the help of experts to discuss the proposal of Gulf Union on social media. Osama Nuqali, head of the media department at the Foreign Ministry, said activists who use social media took the opportunity to express their opinions and expectations on Gulf Union. Nuqali said he had replied to the queries of a number of participants during the debate and told them that the main objective of the proposal is to achieve greater integration in all areas among the GCC countries by institutionalizing their activities. Abdul Rahman Hazza, deputy minister of information, said: \"In our opinion Gulf Union should make use of the previous achievements to open a new era of unity and integration among the member countries, ensuring a brighter future for governments and peoples.\" Muhammad Al-Daghailabi, who introduced himself as head of the visual forum, said the issues of identify, nationality, employment and trade would be the biggest challenges facing Gulf Union. Nuqali said the participants also discussed the issues of GCC currency and GCC identity card that would allow its citizens to travel between member countries using the smart card, instead of passport.
