His Majesty the King's Personal Representative for Charity Work and Youth Affairs, Supreme Council for Youth and Sport Chairman and Bahrain Olympic Committee President Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa has received here the Editor in Chief of Asharq Al-Awsat Arabic daily Salman bin Yousuf Al-Dossari.
Shaikh Nasser pointed out that Asharq Al-Awsat has taken very important steps since its establishment, which have contributed to achieving the desired development for the Arab media.
He added that Asharq Al-Awsat represented professionalism and integrity in its media message, objectivity and accuracy in delivering news and constructive criticism aimed at development, highlighting the newspaper's prestigious status on all levels.
Shaikh Nasser hailed Asharq Al-Awsat's achievements in addressing regional and international developments, expressing his appreciation for its pioneering role in upgrading Arab's journalism and affirming the importance of continuing the newspaper's remarkable march.
Al-Dossari lauded the efforts exerted by Shaikh Nasser in enhancing Bahrain's bright image on all aspects, specially on the youth and sports sides.
He stressed that the youth movement, led by Shaikh Nasser has put Bahrain at the forefront of countries interested in youth, aiming to create the perfect atmosphere for them to participate in Bahrain's development process.
