The New World Foundation for Development and Human Rights (NWDHR) described a decision taken by President Mohamed Morsi to withdraw complaints against journalists as a right decision but a little bit late. It is a good stop that can remove many threats looming in face of Egyptian journalists and media men, said human right activist Emad Hegab, who is the executive director of the foundation and manager of the observatory. Hegab called on Morsi to take more steps that support a decision taken on Wednesday to withdraw all complaints failed by the presidency against number of journalists. He also asked the president to ban imprisonment of journalists in publishing cases and respect the role played by media to uncover facts for public.
