The delegation representing the news and political programs sector at the Kuwaiti Information Ministry has actively been participating in the ongoing 35th GCC Summit through carrying out live coverages of the Gulf gathering.
The delegation has formed a team of distinguished media men who have been very active in conducting live interviews with various personalities and broadcasting them live on Kuwait Television, thus, putting the viewer in front of the whole picture of what is happening on the ground.
Assistant Undersecretary for news sector at the Ministry of Information Tariq Al-Mirzam told KUNA that the ministry, represented by a delegation of news editors, have been very keen to follow up events that are taking place on the ground to dessiminate such news reports to the viewer in Kuwait and the world, adding that "this ongoing summit is very dear to our hearts".
He added that the Information Ministry's delegation has been very distinct as it included a number of editors and reporters with the latest modern technological devices such as the device known as (Stream Box) that broadcasts directly via the Internet from the event site and from any location thanks to its small size, a matter which saves a lot of effort and time.
He pointed out that the delegation also is in charge of transmitting the news coverage live on the social media outlets to keep up with the latest technologies in this sphere.
