Minister of Information and Minister of State for Youth Affairs Sheikh Salman Sabah Salem Al-Sabah highlighted the important role of youth, and increasing knowledge and awareness in their faith, heritage, identity and belonging. Sheikh Salman stressed, in a speech he delivered at the meeting of the 44th Board of Directors of the GCC Joint Program Production Institution, on Kuwait''''s keenness to strengthen cooperation between the GCC countries in all fields, especially the media field. The minister added that the influence of the media on all aspects of our daily lives has become so obvious, and in turn forces us all to adopt strategic planning for the transition from being inactive to active and taking the initiative in highlighting the role of the production program institution, which coincide with its new launch in translating visions and aspirations in setting up productions that responds to GCC leaders'''' vision. Sheikh Salman stressed importance on the role of the youths who preoccupy the majority of our communities, and consider them a natural treasure, stressing on the need to enrich their personalities and enhance their awareness of their faith. The minister called on members participating in meeting to promote the spirit of belonging and loyalty and highlight the march of the Gulf throughout history.
