Minister of Information and Minister of State for Youth Affairs Sheikh Salman Sabah Al-Salem Al-Humoud Al-Sabah stressed here on Wednesday the need to ensure the success of the national celebrations for the current year. Sheikh Salman urged, during his presidency over the Standing Committee meeting aimed to prepare for the holidays and national events, state institutions participating in these events to provide their programs and activities for the organizing committee as soon as possible to be introduced among the celebartions schedule. He emphasized the importance of reviewing and re-evaluating the previous experiences to ensure provision of a more successful and creative season, especially after the remarkable success of the events of last year. He also called for creating a positive partnership with the private sector and the intensification of advertising and marketing for these events to contribute to attract followers and stimulate domestic tourism. For her part, Secretary of the Committee and Chairman of the Voluntary Work Center Sheikha Amthal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah underscored the importance of making the national opera, which will be held under the slogan (Kuwait .. Honesty and Loyalty) a true event that would befit this grand national occasion. She called on the relevant state institutions to cooperate and facilitate the tasks of all employees for the sake of making these ceremonies a success.
