The cabinet on Wednesday urged the local media and users of the social networks to exercise wise judgment when passing news about perceived violations of public funds. The statement, presented on behalf of the cabinet by State Minister for Cabinet Affairs Sheikh Muhammad Abdullah Al-Sabah, behooved the public not to tarnish the character of public personages without any evidence or proof and to resort to the law if one has such evidence or proof to allow the law take its proper course. While the cabinet appreciated those who stand up for protection of public funds, it saw the absolute imperative to refer any violator of these funds to the court of law to determine the right judgment
