The Board Chairman and Director General of Kuwait News Agency "KUNA" Sheikh Mubarak Duaij Al-Ibrahim Al-Sabah on Wednesday visited KUNA's office in Manama, Bahrain, as part of his efforts to develop the agency's offices abroad.
Al-Sabah praised the efforts of Kuwait's Ambassador to Bahrain Sheikh Azzam Mubarak Al-Sabah and the office in covering events and strengthening relations with Kuwait Embassy here.
He called on workers at the office to open more communication channels with Bahraini media bodies and to enhance relations with Kuwaiti media bodies to exchange expertise. He highlighted that the Gulf media has a significant role in spreading awareness to develop Gulf societies through covering regional and international developments and events.
Al-Sabah was accompanied during the visit by Director of the office of KUNA's Director General Naief Al-Otaibi and KUNA's Director of Marketing and Public Relations Isam Al-Riwayeh.
Meanwhile, Bahraini Minister of State for Information Affairs and the Government's Official Spokesperson Sameera Rajab has commended the Photos Gallery organized on the sidelines of the 42th Federation of Arab News Agencies Assembly (FANA) Meeting.
The show includes a collection of photographs from Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) and from Arab countries on their cultural, developmental, architectural, sports, artistic and geographic landmarks.
