A photo reporter of the Turkish daily Milliyet, who was kidnapped in Syria late November, returned to Turkey on Sunday, private Dogan news agency reported. A special team from the Turkish National Intelligence Organization (MIT) brought back reporter Bunyamin Aygun after meeting him in Syria following his release earlier Sunday, according to the report. Aygun and the MIT team entered Turkey from Cilvegozu border gate near the southern province of Hatay, said the report. Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu said that Turkey is closely following Aygun's situation, stressing that Ankara has been exerting great efforts to secure his release.
