The Syndicate of Journalists' Council organized a rally in front of its headquarters in downtown Cairo to condemn the terrorist attack on the office of Charlie Hebdo satirical magazine in Paris.
At least 12 people, mostly journalists, were killed in Paris on Wednesday when gunmen opened fire inside the office.
The journalists who took part in the rally held up their pens and cameras.
The Syndicate of Journalists' Chief Diaa Rashwan along with a host of council's members took part in the rally.
Also, a number of correspondents of foreign newspapers in Egypt attended the rally.
