Court refuses to shut down CBC channel, halt Bassem Youssef\'s show

The Administrative Court turned down a lawsuit calling for shutting down private satellite channel CBC and taking a satire show off the air presented by Bassem Youssef. On March 30, Bassem Youssef was summoned by the prosecution for investigations into charges of insulting President Mohamed Morsi and contempt of religion. He hosts weekly satire show El-Bernameg (The Show) on private satellite channel CBC He was bailed on EGP 15,000.
