Bahrain has many young and outstanding press and media personnel, State Minister for Information Affairs and the Government's Official Spokesperson Sameera Ebrahim bin Rajab said at the conclusion of two training workshops held under her patronage.
News Editor of French TV 5 channel Suleiman Zeghidour lectured in the first workshop, "Media Coverage and Elections" while member of the 2014 Parliamentary and Municipal Elections Executive Committee Jawaher Adel Abdulrahman was the keynote speaker of the second workshop on the electoral process.
The minister stressed the ministry's keenness to develop competencies by holding various training sessions and workshops and availing of the specialists' experience. She underlined the importance of grooming the journalists and media personnel professionally while Bahrain is gearing towards a celebration of democracy on November 22.
The minister pointed out that the ministry is going ahead with its strategies to develop the Information Affairs Authority Training Centre. She honoured the participants in the workshops, wishing them further success.
