We’re impressed by the speed in which Mercedes managed to leak official photos of the SL.As night follows day, it was a certainty that following yesterday\'s leaked brochure scans we would have official shots hitting the web, and here they are.GermanCarForum is guilty of uploading the sizeable stash of leaked shots, and the 2013 SL looks great with a new look inspired by both the SLK and SLS AMG. There\'s a distinctly boxier feel to the sheet metal, new light clusters and upright grille, and on the inside leather and genuine wood trim will doubtless be decorating plenty of modern technology.We still don\'t have details about what powertrains Mercedes are planning for the SL, nor can we comment on the price. But as the 2012 Detroit Auto Show nears ever closer, the time for releasing all the essential details will soon come; have patience.
