Volkswagen Middle East has introduced more cost-effective repair solutions for Volkswagen cars four years or older following the launch of Value Packages – a component of Volkswagen Genuine Parts.
Value Packages provide customers of Volkswagen vehicles beyond the four years mark with greater choice, flexibility and assurance that investment in vehicle maintenance is in line with the age of the vehicle, said a statement from the company.
Volkswagen Genuine Parts, developed for Value Packages are built to unique technical specifications and are subject to a stringent development and testing process to guarantee a high quality and durable product range, it added.
The lower cost of the range is partially due to adapting the production materials to an older vehicle’s residual value.
The introductory Value Packages line includes silencers, exhaust pipes, dust and pollen filters, windscreen cleaners, starter batteries, brake pads and discs, alternators, spark plugs, wiper blades, shock absorbers and drive shafts for a limited range of models. As the range rolls out across the region, the number of parts on offer will continue to grow, stated the company.
Thomas Milz, managing director of Volkswagen Middle East, said: “By introducing Value Packages, we can maximise the life span of Volkswagen vehicles at a cost that ensures greater value-for-money for the remainder of the car’s service life.
“Delivering service excellence is one of our foremost priorities, we offer Volkswagen drivers greater choice and flexibility in knowing that their vehicles can be maintained to the highest standards at a low cost, even after four years on the roads,” he said.
Value Packages are available at dealerships across the Volkswagen Middle East retail network, it stated.
