The corvette inducted into the sebring hall of fame

Despite failing to win the GT class at the Sebring 12 Hours, the Corvette team had cause for celebration. Chevrolet Corvette failed to win the GT class at the recent Sebring 12 Hours race; however the day before the race, Corvette was inducted into the Sebring Hall of Fame. Despite the failure to win this time, Corvette\'s record on the Floridian race track is impressive. Corvette first competed at Sebring in 1956 and since that year, 231 Corvettes have competed in the Twelve Hours of Sebring race; 24 of them scoring class or category victories in this legendary contest.Seven of the Sebring wins were tallied by Corvette Racing, the most successful team in the history of the American Le Mans Series (ALMS).
