The first photos and details of the Roding Roadster have been released in the build-up to the model’s debut in Geneva.A total curb weight of 2,094lbs combined with 320hp renders the Roadster capable of hitting 62mph from rest in 3.9 seconds and can accelerate from 50mph to 75mph in 4 seconds while in fifth gear. Utilizing a six-speed manual transmission with LSD, Roding says their model can boast some solid efficiency numbers as well, returning 34.4 mpg imp.The Roadster doesn\'t contain much on the interior, as Roding is a subscriber to the idea that less is more. It features front and rear anti-roll bars, leather wrapped Recaro racing seats with 4-pt. safety belts and an Alpine system with 6.1-inch touch screen, lap timer and GPS.Sitting on a set of lightweight 18-inch alloy wheels wrapped in Toyo Proxes rubbers, the exterior is available with either a carbon fiber or two-tone red finish. The Roding Roadster 23 will make its official debut at the 2012 Geneva Motor Show. The Swiss show kicks off on March 6th. Roding has been showing off a Roadster mule/concept since the 2010 Frankfurt Auto Show and a year and a half later, they are finally bringing the Roadster 23 to the Geneva Motor Show for its official and much-anticipated debut. The mid-engine model was developed on the Nurburgring and will be produced in a limited run of only 23 units. The Roding Roadster 23 combines a lightweight carbon fiber chassis with a BMW 3.0-liter inline 6-cylinder engine.
