Land Rover is celebrating a major production milestone with its six millionth vehicle - a Range Rover LWB Vogue SE, which is currently being showcased at the Shanghai Auto Show, China.
The White Range Rover LWB Vogue SE has been fitted with a bespoke puddle lamp graphic, with the one-off motif replacing the standard Range Rover’s silhouette that is projected by the car’s puddle lamps, said a statement from the company.
The latest Land Rover combines quality exterior design and interior detailing with the exceptional luxury, comfort and fine attention to detail that are established Range Rover hallmarks.
Andy Goss, director, group sales operations, Jaguar Land Rover, said: “For 67 years Land Rover has been building the world's most capable all-purpose vehicles.”
“It’s fitting that the six millionth Land Rover to be produced is a Range Rover, since this year marks the 45th anniversary of the original Range Rover’s launch and even today, the vehicle remains peerless,” he added.
Bruce Robertson, managing director of Jaguar Land Rover, Middle East and North Africa (Mena), said: “The Range Rover remains Land Rover’s best-selling vehicle in Mena, and has now become the fourth largest market globally for this model.”
“This production milestone is a significant marker in the company’s history,” he added.
