Infiniti Q50, a premium compact sedan, is set to make its Middle East debut at the ongoing Dubai International Motor Show. Juergen Schmitz, general manager, Infiniti in the Middle East, said: “The Dubai International Motor Show offers us a biennial opportunity to present the full breadth of our offering to Infiniti’s Middle East audience.” “Our brand promise of passion, precision and performance are represented across all our exhibits, from our desirable product range to the Infiniti Red Bull Racing display, against the backdrop of our provocatively differentiating stand design. These core elements for our brand are embodied in Infiniti Q50 - the all-new benchmark for future Infiniti sedans.” The 2014 Infiniti Q50 sports sedan brings together category-defining design, rewarding performance, world-first technologies and unmatched levels of connectivity and personalization, a statement said. Along with the pioneering Direct Adaptive Steering technology and Active Lane Control, available exclusively on Infiniti Q50, it also introduces Infiniti’s Direct Response Hybrid System to the Middle East line-up for the first time. The sedan is capable of reaching 100kp/hr in 5.6 seconds and with driving dynamics fine-tuned with direct input from Infiniti’s Director of Performance, Sebastian Vettel, offers the ideal balance of performance and efficiency, according to the statement. Alongside Infiniti Q50, EMERG-E also makes its regional debut. EMERG-E is one of a trilogy of highly-lauded Infiniti concepts which have become the foundation of Infiniti’s new design language and is displayed in fully-functioning ‘Demonstrator’ configuration. Design cues pioneered on these concepts, such as the ‘double arch’ grille, dynamic arch silhouette and human-eye like headlights, will be adapted to all Infiniti’s future sports sedans.
