Iran\'s largest carmaker, Iran-Khodro Company (IKCO), said it plans to strengthen and organize its sales and after-sales services network in the CIS countries due to its increased exports to the region. For this purpose the company has signed some agreements with its trade parties in the region. Mir Javad Soleimani, IKCO vice-president in Quality and Product Development said, \"The company has reached an agreement with a big Russian holding company, based on which IKCO car owners in that country would receive suitable and desirable services.\" Producing 200,000 cars in 2011 that counts for ten percent of the car production in Russian market, this holding company runs 130 dealers and sales and after-sales service centers in Russia. Soleimani further added that IKCO is also holding talks with a famous Ukrainian company to distribute IKCO cars in Ukraine\'s market and orchestrate its sales and after-sales services network in that country. Currently, this company is running 14 dealers in different cities of Ukraine. Following Russia, Ukraine is the most demanding car market amongst the CIS countries. There are less than 150 cars per 1000 people in Ukraine. The figure indicates how potential this market is. IKCO recently participated in two motor shows in Russia and Ukraine and received warm welcomes by visitors.
