Sales of cars in the European Union has hit a new record low in February 2013, The European Automobile Manufacturers’ Association (ACEA) said Tuesday.German news agency Deutche Presse Agentur (DPA) reported today that car registrations in February went down 10.5% compared to the same month of last year. The total number of car registrations in February 2013 were 795,482. This is the lowest figure since ACEA started collecting data back in 1990.Britain was the only country to post an increase in registrations, it went up by 7.9% compared to February 2012.
