Nearly 920,000 Jeeps will be recalled to investigate a faulty electrical part after 215 unintended airbag deployments were reported, Chrysler Group said. The recall covers 2002-04 Jeep Grand Cherokee and 2002-03 Jeep Liberty models sold in the United States and Canada, the Detroit News reported Friday. Chrysler said there were 126 reports of inadvertent airbag deployment in the Liberty and 89 in the Grand Cherokee, and reports of 81 minor injuries. \"A design change to a supplied component was linked to a small number of inadvertent air bag deployments, and in keeping with the best interests of our customers, we initiated a recall campaign,\" said Chrysler spokesman David Dillon.
