Chrysler and GM will recall cars in China's mainland over software and airbag problems respectively, China's quality watchdog announced on Wednesday.
From Aug. 25, Chrysler will recall 11,013 Grand Cherokees produced between July 17, 2013 and May 1, 2014 due to in-vehicle software flaws, said the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine.
From Sept. 30, GM will recall 700 Opel Agila-A cars produced between July 30, 2002 and Jan. 29, 2003.
Both companies will repair the faults for free.
