Al Nabooda Automobiles has announced a Dh900 million investment programme that is set to expand and enhance its operations network in the UAE. The new development programme covers 10 individual projects that upon completion will result in the latest facilities in Dubai, Fujairah and Sharjah. “The new facilities we are creating to showcase the Porsche, Audi and Volkswagen brands provide the most powerful evidence of our commitment to our business partners, to our customers, and to the local communities where we operate,” explained K. Rajaram, CEO, Al Nabooda Automobiles. The development projects include the world’s largest Audi new car sales terminal on Shaikh Zayed Road, which is scheduled for completion in September at a cost of Dh118.5 million. Another project that is scheduled for completion in 2013 is a Dh144 million new Porsche showroom that will also be built on Shaikh Zayed Road. Before the end of the year Nabooda also plans to start operations from a new Dh85.5 million multi-brand facility in Fujairah that will comprise individual Porsche, Audi and Volkswagen showrooms. In July 2013 Nabooda will also complete work on a Dh120 million facility in Sharjah that will also feature all three of the individual Porsche, Audi and Volkswagen showrooms in addition to a combined workshop. from gulfnews.com
