Mitsubishi is displaying a slight facelift to its Outlander Sport SUV at the New York Auto Show. And here are a few cues to comprehend the magnitude of the changes the Outlander has gone through: looking at the front fascia one can detect a redesigned front bumper section, a new grille styling and a new fog lamp design. From the back you\'ll notice a new rear bumper design, and from the side you\'ll notice that the side sills are now black in order to match the lower sections of the redesigned front and rear bumpers.A few novelties can also be found inside the car while from a technical perspective the chassis received a revised rear multi-link suspension and the engine an enhanced Continuously-Variable Transmission (CVT) calibration.Standard equipment on all Outlander Sport models includes, amongst other features, 18-inch alloys, leather-wrapped steering wheel and shift knob, cruise control with steering wheel-mounted controls, and FUSE Handsfree Link System, which allows voice-activated operation of an iPod and cell phone. The Mitsubishi Outlander will be built in the US from July 2012.
