The post-tropical cyclone known as Nadine has regained tropical storm status in the mid-Atlantic, U.S. forecasters said Sunday. The National Hurricane Center in Miami said at 1 p.m. EST Nadine was about 515 miles south of the Azores heading west at 2 mph. The storm was sporting winds of 60 mph. There were no coast watches or warnings in effect. In the Eastern Pacific, Tropical Storm Miriam with forecast to become a hurricane Sunday night. Sunday morning, the storm was 505 miles south of the southern tip of Baja California, with winds of 65 mph. Miriam was heading northwest at 8 mph. There were no coastal watches or warnings in effect.
