A tiger at a roadside zoo Liger attacked a three year old child on Wednesday in the Far Eastern Amur Region. The child was taken to hospital, regional EMERCOM representative Raisa Kopyrina said. The injured boy was taken to a neurosurgery department of a hospital in the city of Blagoveshchensk. He has opened craniocerebral injury and avulsed injuries. Spokesperson of the regional internal affairs department Dmitry Serezhichev said that the cages with predators were behind the railing. “Parents decided to take a photo of the child and put him too closely to the cage. Somehow the tiger was able to reach a child and grabbed him,” Serezhichev said.
