Temperature dropped to below zero in several regions of the country at dawn on Saturday, according to national meteorological centers. In Al-Salmi, west of Kuwait city, the temperature dropped to 0-1 degrees, the lowest that has been reported in the country since being gripped with biting cold recently. Record fall to zero was reported in various region, such as Ubroq Al-Habari, Jal Al-Liah, Al-Abdali and Al-Matrabah. The main meteorological station at the airport reported that the heat level in Al-Jahraa fell to 3-0. Wave of biting cold is forecast to continue gripping Kuwait in the coming days, with rise of the heat expected to reach 12 degrees in the airport region at mid-day times.
