Strong south-westerly winds are expected to kick up dust and sand across the UAE from Thursday evening. The temperature is also expected to rise, according to National Centre of Meteorology and Seismology (NCMS). NCMS urged motorists to be cautious on roads since visibility is expected to dip due to the bad weather. The NCMS said the country is expected to be affected by low surface pressure extending from the south-west. It will be accompanied by south to south-westerly warm to relatively hot wind. The conditions would continue for at least up to Saturday. Conditions are expected to be pretty hot especially on Friday. The centre has advised people to stay away from the sea during the weekend as sea will also be rough.
