Pakistani capital Islamabad has witnessed a wave of bitter cold and a precipitous drop in temperature with temperature dropped to one degree below zero last nightAccording to sources of Pakistan Meteorological Department weather in most parts of the country will remain dry and cold during the next twenty-four hours. The Meteorological Department predicted the occurrence of a continued wave of cold in the northern areas of the country where residents have left some of these areas, including Valley Swat and moved to other cities to spend the winterThe regions of southwest Pakistan also witnessed a sharp decrease in temperature which dropped in the the city of Qalat to ten degrees below zero.The extreme cold in Pakistan, especially in the northern parts of the country leads to complete paralysis of life for several months as certain areas are entirely covered with snow which makes life very difficult while the fall of snow closes roads as well
