Scattered rain has fallen in different parts of the UAE as the overcast weather continues since Monday across the country. The National Centre of Meteorology and Seismology (NCMS) has reported partly cloudy weather in general for Tuesday, saying the amount of clouds will increase at times in some areas with light rain. Thunder clouds and strong winds were sweeping through the western region of the country early on Tuesday. A forecaster said a low pressure system has been moving from the west towards the east and that has been resulting in unstable weather in the country. On Monday light rain was received in Madinat Zayed, Al Ruwais, Al Ghouefat, Al Gayathi, Al Mirfa, Al Hamrah, Liwa and some areas of Abu Dhabi. It was completely cloudy in Al Ain at around 5pm but the city received no rain. Winds have also been blowing dust and sand, particularly in the open land areas. Sea is expected to be moderately rough in both the Arabian Gulf and the Gulf of Oman.
