The National Centre of Meteorology and Seismology, NCMS, has urged motorists to be cautious due to low horizontal visibility caused by fog in various areas of the country.
In a statement on Tuesday, NMCS said that the weather today will be partly cloudy in general, with fresh winds to strong at times, especially over sea, causing blowing dust over exposed areas and a drop in temperatures. The relative humidity is likely to increase during night and early morning with a chance of fog and mist over internal areas.
"Sea will be rough to very rough in the Arabian Sea and rough in the Sea of Oman," the statement added.
Wednesday and Thursday's conditions are likely to remain similar, with moderate seas on Wednesday becoming rough on Thursday.
