A rise in temperatures is forecast today, but the weather will remain partly cloudy in most regions and warm in the Jordan Valley and Aqaba while winds will be northeasterly to southeasterly moderate.
According to Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD), temperatures will further rise over the weekend becoming higher than their annual average by 5-6 degrees Celsius. Therefore, it will be moderate in the hilly areas and warm in the Badia, the Jordan Valley and Aqaba.
Winds will be southeasterly moderate to brisk with clouds at high altitudes, JMD said.
Temperatures in Amman for today will range between a high of 17 degrees Celsius and a low of 10 degrees.
