Northwesterly winds are still blowing across the UAE and over the sea, triggering high waves on Wednesday. The National Centre for Meteorology and Seismology in Abu Dhabi urged people going to the sea to be cautious. The strong to moderate northwesterly winds are also kicking up dust and sand in open areas on Wednesday. According to the national weather bureau, relative humidity is likely to increase over some internal areas during Wednesday night and Thursday early morning, with a chance of mist/fog, especially over the northern internal areas. The sea is expected to be rough in general. Forecast for Thursday: Partly cloudy weather at times, especially over the eastern areas. Day temperatures tend to rise slightly over the interiors. Moderate to fresh northwesterly winds in general, especially over the sea, and sea will be rough with wave height of 5ft to 7ft offshore. The relative humidity will increase over the internal and the coastal areas during night and early morning, with a chance of mist/fog.
