Relatively cold and partly cloudy conditions and gusty winds, associated with the wet air mass that started to affect the Kingdom early this week, will continue to prevail on Wednesday and Thursday.
According to the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD), rain is also forecast on the southern and central parts of the Kingdom with cloud formation during the night mainly over the highlands.
A rise in temperatures is expected on Friday, to become around their seasonal average; but relatively cold conditions will continue in the hilly areas, while it will be mild in the desert region, warm in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea and the Gulf of Aqaba.
Winds will be northwesterly moderate with clouds at low altitudes, the JMD added.
Temperatures forecast in the capital for today will range between a high of 14 degrees Celsius and a low of 7 degrees at night, while mercury levels in the Gulf of Aqaba will hit 25 degrees plunging to 13 at night.
