Saudi investors plan to build solar-empowered residential city in Egypt

Saudi investors said they are intending to implement a giant project that aims to establish a residential city for youths in Egypt at a cost of five billion pounds.
In an interview with Okaz newspaper, Saudi businessman Ahmed al Amoudy said he and his partner Abdullah el Hig are intending to implement a giant project to establish a residential city operating with solar energy for youths.
The entire city's waste will be recycled into a fuel, he further said.
The project will be implemented in cooperation with Egyptian businessman Ikramy el Sabbagh, Amoudy further said, adding that Chinese engineers will implement the project with the supervision of leading Egyptian consultants.
