A Kuwaiti judicial delegation paid a visit to the headquarters of the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) in The Hague Tuesday.
The delegation is headed by the Supreme Judiciary Council Member and Undersecretary of the Cassation Court Counselor Abdulaziz Al-Fahad.
The visit is meant to strengthen ties with the international organization, said a statement by the Kuwait Embassy in The Hague quoting Counselor Al-Fahad.
The statement added that the delegation was welcomed by the president and senior officials of the organization.
The delegation members, accompanied by OPCW officials, toured the different departments of the organization to get a closer view about the mechanism of work in this important organization.
The Kuwaiti delegation presented a memorial shield from Kuwait's Supreme Judiciary Council to the OPCW.
